We’re excited to announce the 

Pacific Wayfinder Sailing Academy! 

We are officially recognized by US Sailing as an Accredited Keelboat School!

This has been a meaningful process, and we’re proud to offer a structured, professional pathway for sailors looking to complete US Sailing Certification Programs and continue building skills and capability on the water.

As part of our initial launch, we plan to offer the following programs in this first instructional season (dates are estimated; final schedule TBD):

–  Basic Cruising (BC):  April – May 2026

–  Bareboat Cruising (BBC):  May – June 2026

–  Coastal Passage Making (CPM):  May – July 2026

–  Safety at Sea Certification (SSC):  March or May 2027

–  Navigational Certifications (NAV):  TBD

Courses will be scheduled based on student demand and instructor availability. We plan to expand into Offshore Passage Making and other Navigational Certifications over our first year and as the program develops. 

Students will receive official US Sailing certification and stickers upon successful completion of qualifying courses.

We will also be offering Safety at Sea training and certification as part of our commitment to preparing sailors not just to sail, but to make safe & sound decisions on the water.

Pacific Wayfinder Sailing Academy! 

We will be hosting an Open House to share full program details and answer all your questions about registering for courses, course availability & scheduling, and how to let us know what you want form our Sailing School.
